We drop our suitcases in Cameroon. Do you know N’dolè? This is a Cameroonian dish, made from leaves. It is most often accompanied by cassava or rice sticks. We reveal the recipe now.

Preparation time: 60- 70 mins

Ingredients

  •      3 balls of N’dolè
  •      500 g of beef
  •      2 chopped onions
  •      400g groundnut (paste)
  •      2 tablespoons of dried crayfish
  •      1 bouillon cube (Maggi)
  •      2 cloves of minced garlic and chilli
  •      200ml oil
  •      Salt, pepper, and chilli
  •      5 liters of water

 

Preparation

  1. Properly wash the N’dolè leaves and boil them in a large pot filled with water, accompanied by salt.
  2. After boiling, remove the leaves and put them in a colander to drain the water.
  3. Heat the oil and sauté the onions, add the garlic and pepper.
  4. Add the meat and brown for a few minutes.
  5. Add the peanut paste and water then cook with the meat for 40 minutes.
  6. Add the N’dolè leaves then the dried crayfish, the salt, the cube and the chili.
  7. Cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
  8. And finally serve with miondo (cassava stick) or rice.
